By Day and By Night

This is a beautiful place in Suzhou called “李公堤”. It is a stretch of manmade bridge housing restaurants and cafes across the Lake of “金鸡湖”. Clean and bright, quiet and serene. Away from the hustle and bustle of the dirty city (市区), it’s located in the industrial park area (园区). Seeing it in the day makes me believe that one day, Suzhou will be less polluted and rowdy. Snapping night shots of it takes my breath away.

Perhaps there’s little heaven in every hell.

wow!! the shots look really nice! esp. the night ones. the lights really brighten up the otherwise dull place. looks different from day to night! i don't remember suzhou being this scenic. but then again, we were brought to the commercial area so we must have missed out on the great sights!

i personally like hangzhou very much. so beautiful and the slow paced life there adds to its dreamy charm!

Hangzhou has West Lake and the famed Longjing Tea. Can imagine sipping the fragrant full bodied tea while admiring the scenery there. =) When I visited West Lake, it was drizzling slightly and adds to the melancholy of the place.

yah it was raining when i was there too. friggin cold till my nails turn blue! brrrr!

i thought the longjing tea is a rather huge ripoff though :P the "tea king" costs 800yuen for one small container... RM400 for leaves that we cannot even authenticate whether its really that good or not.. hello?! i don't mind shelling out since we're on vacation, but thats daylight robbery! LOL!
