Caffeine Dependence

It’s the equivalent of being addicted to a drug. Signs of withdrawal includes: a dull persistent headache, irritability and bouts of mild depression.
Not to mention all day lethargy.

I need my cuppa NOW. Should make it a regular habit to start my day off with a full-bodied double shot macchiato instead of waiting for the symptoms to kick in.

That's lucky for you. You steer clear of highly caffeinated drinks. As for myself, I need such a strong dosage it's enough to keep a cow awake all week.

You know what? I am a champion sleeper. Drink coffee then sleep. No problem. Good grief. =(

i used to be like that! i even put two black coffee bags into one mug once to help stay awake to study for my exams... i think i fell asleep less than half an hour later :P

when i want it to help me stay awake, it helps me sleep. when i want to sleep, it keeps me awake. i think caffeine hates me. lol!

Hi Robbie! Yea, coke sounds like a good alternative. But not powerful enough for me. (coffee: 85 mg versus coke: 37 mg of caffeine)

Stains teeth so I have to take precautions after drinking. Have to whip out the toothbrush or at least wipe the hell out of my teeth with tissue. =(
